This 1913 built Seattle home in Mt. Baker was a major restoration project in addition to the house painting and prep. No less than 175 hours of carpentry repair was performed to prepare the building for painting. Cellular PVC was selected to be used on the third deck railing where the entire structure was unsound and needed to be removed and replaced. Many of the old fascia and post details were discovered to be rotten after work had begun. Many of the old details needed to be custom designed and assembled off site at the Shearer Painting shop before field installation.
